This Seastar features an elegant plated yellow gold case measuring approximately 38.5mm in diameter, with a lug-to-lug length of about 40mm.Movement
This Seastar features the Tissot 2481 automatic movement. Operating at 19,800 vph, this movement played a key role in Tissot's lineup during the 1960s and 1970s. Based on the ETA 2472, this 17-jewel caliber features a date complication and a 42-hour power reserve. Known for its reliability and ease of servicing, the 2481 was used in various Tissot models, including the Seastar line seen here. The movement in this Tissot runs well at the time of listing, but has not been bench tested for precise accuracy.Signature Features
The date window complication is a standout feature of this Seastar model. In the 1970s, the date function was becoming increasingly popular in wristwatches, offering practical functionality for everyday wear. We accept returns within 3 days of receiving your purchase. Returns must be sent fully insured with the shipping costs covered by the customer.
