Tissot’s Seastar line was introduced in the late 1950s as a collection of water-resistant watches designed to appeal to an active lifestyle market. The Seastar Seven, produced during the 1960s and early 1970s, was a more compact and affordable variant within this range, featuring manual-wind movements like the Caliber 781-1. The Seastar Seven models are notable for their clean dials and reliable mechanics, making them popular choices for everyday wear during their production period.

This piece is powered by a 17-jeweled manual-wind movement and is fitted with a black leather strap that sits in fair condition and has a small bit of revealed threading visible. It also wears a plated yellow gold buckle. Its crystal sits in good condition with some light scratches. Overall, this Tissot sits in fair vintage condition, showing wear consistent with its age.
