Hamilton’s Seckron Doctors Watch stands out with its distinctive dual-dial layout made for medical professionals to time pulses with a separate seconds register. Produced around 1940–1941, this compact and unusual rectangular watch was Hamilton’s answer to specialty timepieces, combining Art Deco-inspired looks with true practical utility. Its bold black original dial and elongated case make it unmistakable on the wrist, and it remains a rare artifact from the golden era of American horology, especially sought by collectors interested in medically purposed designs.

Notes
This Hamilton features a 22mm 14-karat gold-filled snap-back case that is in overall good condition. It shows light scratches throughout with some smaller marks and material loss on its case back and the rear side of its lugs. It appears to have received a polish at some point. Its all-original black dial remains legible with some light markings throughout, most notably spotting around the center pinions within each subdial, a small area of loss in the top left corner, and a line within the base of the bottom register that stretches left to right. It wears original white sword hands that are in great shape. This piece is powered by a 17-jewel manually wound movement and is fitted with an aftermarket black leather strap and plain gold-colored buckle. Its movement exhibits some light shaking as it sits within its case. Its glass crystal is in good condition with no significant scratches. Overall, this Hamilton from the early 1940s is in good vintage condition, showing wear consistent with its age.
