This Doxa timepiece, made in approx. the 1960s / 1970s, reflects the brand's versatility and ability to cater to a diverse clientele while maintaining its reputation for precision and style. Doxa was expanding its offerings beyond its celebrated dive watches to include elegant models suitable for various occasions.
Design and Construction
This Doxa features a refined yellow gold-plated case measuring approximately 35mm in diameter, with a lug-to-lug length of about 42mm. These dimensions contrast the larger dive watches Doxa was known for in previous decades. The body of this piece is in immaculate condition.
Movement
This Doxa carries with it an FHF 969N manual-winding movement. Produced by Swiss manufacturer Fabrique d'Horlogerie de Fontainemelon in the late 1960s, the FHF 969N was widely adopted by Swiss brands, representing the pinnacle of mass-produced mechanical movements just before the quartz revolution transformed the watch industry.
Signature Features
While this model doesn't feature the iconic dive watch characteristics Doxa is known for, it showcases the brand's versatility in producing elegant dress watches. The use of a gold-plated case and a clean white dial reflects Doxa's ability to create timepieces suitable for more formal occasions.

We accept returns within 7 days of receiving your purchase. Returns must be sent fully insured with the shipping costs covered by the customer.
